Jon + Marlee

Here I am again, a blog that should have been posted much sooner than this, but with what may have been the busiest year to date, we are accomplishing tiny wins.

Marlee and Jon have been amazing from the beginning. They are one of those couples who you know will last forever and why they have such an amazing group of family and friends that shared their special day with them. They made me feel so welcomed on their special day, when they did not have to by any means, and it filled my heart to the brim of their thoughtfulness for everyone around. Their day started and ended with great weather, but as all West Virginia weather predictions, out came a downpour right after portraits, but the unique salt buildings saved the day to finish the portraits before the reception.

This was also my first time photographing at J.Q. Dickinson Salt-Works and I hope to come back again! This 200 year old family farm harvests all-natural salt from the depths below the Appalachian mountains. From the serene grounds that has numerous areas to choose from to the friendly and helpful staff, makes this hidden gem a perfect place for your event or wedding.

Enjoy these images with me as we glance on what was truly a beautiful June day.
